About Timmy
Growing up in the back woods of South Carolina, Timmy has always felt at home in the outdoors. Even at a young age, Timmy could be found catching snakes, hiking up mountains, and camping under the stars. In order to further pursue his outdoor passions, Timmy decided to attend North Greenville University, where he graduated from the Outdoor Leadership program. Not only did he learn more about being an outdoor professional at NGU, but he also met his beautiful wife Aubrae there. Throughout their years of marriage, Timmy and Aubrae pursued a handful of different career opportunities, and ultimately ended up becoming school teachers in Columbia, SC. While teaching, Timmy heard about Camp Eagle’s mission and ministry, and immediately wanted to learn more about how he could be a part of it. He knew firsthand the impact that outdoor adventure had in his own life and faith, and was excited to be a part of a ministry that used adventure as a primary tool in order to help build relationships and reinforce Biblical truth. In August of 2014, Timmy accepted a job to join the Retreats department at Camp Eagle, and has enjoyed being a part of their mission and ministry ever since! Whenever Timmy is not on the job serving our guests, he can be often found playing ultimate, binging Netflix shows, or road tripping with his wife.
